Remembrance service
Remembrance – Monday 11th November 2020
As part of Remembrance on Monday, year 5 will be visited by Mr J Alder (an ex-soldier) who will be chatting to year 5 about his years of service and answering any questions the children may have.
Ash Wednesday
Dear Parents and Carers,
Ash Wednesday, marking the beginning of Lent, falls on the 26th of February this year and we are delighted that Reverend David will again be leading a special service at our school. The service will begin at 10:15 am and we would like to extend an invitation to any parents or carers that would like to attend. Everyone will be offered the opportunity to come forward to receive the sign of the cross in ash on the foreheads, if they would like to do so. This is a reminder of God’s love shown to us by Jesus’ death and resurrection. If you are able to attend or do not wish for your child to receive this please indicate this on the slip below.
