Oak Academy Learning
A brand-new enterprise has been created by 40 teachers from some of the leading schools across England, backed by government grant funding. It will provide 180 video lessons each week. This link will take you to a range of subjects from maths to art to languages, for your year group. Or you can click on the schedule button on their homepage to follow a set plan of lessons across a range of subjects.
Every day for early work, children complete a short arithmetic sheet covering written methods for addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. On the My Mini Maths website, you can find examples of the types of question that we would use.

Children should be reading at least 5 times a week. This is a great opportunity to read some good books! Children should have brought home a library book from school. If you finish it and have nothing else to read, why not try an audiobook or read what’s happening in the news at BBC Newsround
