Meet your new teachers!

Meet Miss Walker!
I thought I would tell you a little bit about me and what you can expect in year 3. I have been teaching year three for ages and don’t tell the other year groups, but it’s definitely my favourite! I love watching you all come into St Michael’s as infants and leave year three as proper junior school children. Being a junior school child can be hard but there are so many good things, like writing in pen not pencil, learning to become really independent learners and swimming lessons.
We have some fantastic topics this year, such as Rock ‘n’ Roll, The Great Escape and I Want My Mummy! I can’t wait to meet you all properly !

Meet Miss James!
This will be my second year teaching Year 3 and I am so excited! It is a year full of exciting and interesting topics that I just know you’ll love, especially our ‘Rock n Roll’ topic all about the Stone Age and woolly mammoths. I trained to become a teacher at a university in Twickenham, the home of England rugby. I particularly enjoy PE and can get rather competitive in a game of fishermen (you’ll love this game!). I have a little dog called Henry. He is a
working cocker spaniel who absolutely loves belly rubs and going to the beach you’ll hear more about him in September!
I can’t wait to meet you all.
Miss James
