Lateness

5 minutes late every day equals 3 days lost each year. 10 minutes late every day results in 6.5 days lost annually, and 15 minutes late leads to 10 days lost per year.

Absences

Missing 1 week equates to 25 hours of missed education. Being absent for 2 weeks means 50 hours missed.

Attendance Percentages

• 100% Attendance = 0 days missed
• 95% Attendance = 10 days missed
• 90% Attendance = 20 days missed
• Under 90% = Persistently absent
• 85% Attendance = 30 days missed
• 80% Attendance = 40 days missed

Lunch

Hot meals can be paid for using our school’s cashless system, ParentPay. We encourage a healthy lunchbox, and further guidelines are available. Please note that we are a nut-aware school.

End of the Day

Children finish school at 3:20pm and must be collected by a parent from the front playground. If you are running late, please ring the school office so that the message can be passed to your child’s class teacher. Your child will wait in the school office until collected. If someone else is picking up your child, please inform the office in advance. Children will remain with the teacher on the front playground if no one arrives to collect them.
