What to do if you have concerns about a child?

During the current school closures, if you are concerned about the safety and wellbeing of a child, you can email our temporary safeguarding email address safe@st-michaels-jun.essex.sch.uk and your concern will be passed onto one of our Designated Safeguarding Leads during the hours of 9am to 4pm, weekdays. If you feel a child is at immediate risk of serious harm, please call the Essex Children’s and Family Hub on 0345 6037627 and ask for the consultation line or in an emergency call 999. During out of office hours please call the Emergency Duty Service on 0345 6061212 or dial 999.
